Ani Kavafian

Violinist Ani Kavafian enjoys a multifaceted career as a soloist, chamber musician, and teacher. She is Concertmaster of the New Haven Symphony Orchestra, where she is currently recording the complete Mozart concertos. An active chamber musician, she has been an Artist of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center since 1979 and regularly tours with the Kavafian-Schub-Shifrin Trio featuring clarinetist David Shifrin and pianist André-Michel Schub. She has appeared as soloist with the New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, Cleveland Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony, and Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra.
