Geraldine Walther

Geraldine Walther, violist of the Takács Quartet, served as Principal Violist of the San Francisco Symphony for twenty-nine years. In 1995 she was selected by Sir Georg Solti as a member of his Musicians of the World. Walther has performed as soloist with various orchestras in the United States and abroad. An avid chamber musician, she has participated in chamber music festivals throughout the United States and Europe.

Artist will be performing in Concert Program IV (July 29), Concert Program V (August 1).
