Each day of the festival, the campus of Menlo School bustles with activity. One of the nation’s leading college preparatory schools, Menlo School is home to festival concerts, the Encounters series, and Music@Menlo’s Chamber Music Institute for gifted young musicians. The ample classrooms of the campus offer an ideal environment for student rehearsals and coachings, while Martin Family Hall and Stent Family Hall’s Spieker Ballroom provide intimate settings, not only for music, but also for Café Conversations, master classes, and other Institute activities.
Outside the classroom, Menlo School’s gracious grounds, shade trees, and picnic areas invite visitors, Institute students, and the festival’s artist-faculty to continue sharing ideas. With its outstanding facilities, welcoming atmosphere, and passionate commitment to learning, Menlo School offers the perfect environment in which to celebrate Music@Menlo’s educational mission, which serves both festival listeners and the next generation of great chamber musicians.
Throughout the festival, Music@Menlo hosts a Welcome Center at Menlo School as a place for artists, students, audiences, and festival guests to connect. The Welcome Center is located on the ground floor of Stent Family Hall (beneath Spieker Ballroom). Visitors to the Welcome Center can purchase concert tickets, and pick up schedules and information about each day’s educational offerings and events.
